ArtCraft image editing: masks, inpainting and replacement

Use a small mask and a focused instruction to remove an object or change one part of an image.

Based on ArtCraft documentation, not hands-on testing.

Select the change

The official Edit Image guide (opens in a new tab / 新窗口打开) describes painting a mask, adding an instruction and generating a replacement for that region. Examples include removing a distracting object, changing a product material or correcting a portrait detail.

Make a focused edit

  1. Begin with an image and identify one change.
  2. Mask closely around the relevant area.
  3. Describe the replacement briefly and generate.
  4. Compare the edited region, its edges and the surrounding image with the original.

For several changes, work from broad adjustments toward small details. Keep intermediate copies so you can return to an earlier result.

Check the boundaries

The official page says unmasked content stays fixed. Treat this as the documented intention and inspect each output; the Wiki has not verified pixel-level preservation across models. Avoid promising that any edit will leave all other pixels unchanged.

Return to 2D composition or check the model source list for editing model names.
